This website is a baby site for the Eucharistic Army Apostolate: ‘Called, Chosen & Committed’ now in the process of becoming a Religious Order in the Catholic Church. The League of Aspiring Saints is focused on the very young and the young adults, drawing/getting their attention to the things of God and Heaven. In our so-called modern world, these young and innocent minds have their attention drawn to worldly ambitions, sports, electronics, entertainment and celebrity issues. The motto: “Catch ’em Young” is uppermost in the mind of the founder of this Apostolate and Religious Order. This was the motivating idea of the “World Youths’ Day” championed by Pope St John Paul II. Because the Family is primary in every aspect of life – Love, Care, Duties, Church, School, Hospital, Government, etc. Mother Church, aware of this, takes special care of helping parents bring up their children well and properly directed from infancy. Just as young exterior plants are anchored against winds from the four corners, to the ground, so do parents shield their children from external forces that could bend/influence their growth negatively, if not properly guided and guarded by their early formators (Parents and/or older siblings).
Today you hear some adults say: “my parents forced me to go to Church with them…”; some of them take that to be an abuse. I don’t understand this. My response remains: “No, they were taking care of their natural and initial responsibility; when you get mature, you will be free to via off as you wish and take responsibility for ALL your actions. Today, some parents remain ashamed for neglecting their initial and vital duties while their wards were growing up; being friends rather than parents to their own children. Incidentally, these children have more friends outside of their homes to joke and play with. We should all help parents teach these children the fundamentals of life, natural, religious and spiritual; letting them know WHY ARE WE HERE? and WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THIS LIFE?
